We are conducting process for American start-up founded in 2017. They operate in the entertainment industry by selling tickets to live events. They survived the pandemic, so it can be said that they are in a stable, recognizable organization. The company employs over 100 people. They are fully self-funded and profitable organization. Their relaxed corporate culture is all about delivery, not red tape.
They would like to hire first people in Poland who will be a liaison between the United States and the Philippines and will be responsible for development of the company on European markets. This is not a standard position, so we are looking for a person who likes challenges and:
- will be 100% committed to work for them (they guarantee work 40 hours a week)
- is ready for onboarding in the afternoon/early night (from 4:00pm to 12:00am) and then meetings in the afternoon from time to time (cooperation with the East Coast of the United States)
Reporting Manager will focus on the mission to further develop the analytics-driven organization by expanding reporting to support pricing strategy, communicate with hedge funds, and develop KPIs.
Reporting Manager (entertainment industry) - collaboration with pricing
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and mentoring a team of 3 reporting analysts from Poland and Philippines which are responsible for providing data for the pricing team;
Develop analytics roadmap and determine resourcing needed to achieve goals;
Responsible for aligning quarterly initiatives with weekly tasks in an agile environment;
Analyses data to make proactive recommendations/solutions to drive and enhance department performance;
Document, evaluate and improve design of reports and processes to ensure that analytical tools evolve as the business changes;
Develops trend analyses and other quantitative reports to determine business trends;
Partners with leaders to further analyse data and develop recommendations for improvement;
Partners with senior management on strategic initiatives, business issues & opportunities;
Business Intelligence (e.g., key performance indicators, executive dashboards, reporting).
Employer requirements:
2-4 years of experience using SQL and a deep understanding of relational databases;
2-4 years’ of people management experience;
Working knowledge of Tableau or comparable BI tool and the capabilities of reporting;
Excellent English (min. C1);
Comfortable with and adaptive to change
Inquisitive & Analytical - search for meaning and patterns in data;
Organized & Strategic - align analysis/reporting with business needs;
Takes initiative - proactively communicates with team and identifies opportunity
